Bakersfield is just 122 miles from Agoura Hills where we picked up our Roadbear RV and so an ideal spot for us to have stayed on our first night on the road. Staying at Orange Grove RV Park was a great introduction to the convenience and comfort of RV Parks. We met John and Shirley who were our neighbours on our first night and they showed us newbies how to connect our electricity and hook-up to town water and dump our grey water and black water. John had lived in Bakersfield and he and Shirley had a nice fifth wheel trailer. As the name suggests orange trees were planted between the parks and although the season had ended, Marty managed to pick a couple of oranges and they tasted so sweet and juicy. We liked the park so much that we decided to stay here again on our way back from Yosemite National Park and on our way to Zion National Park.
