Hi Helen and Colin,
Great to hear from you again! Yes it is coming to an end. We have another week in Amsterdam with Dwight and Anna. Anna comes back from Ischia, Italy tomorrow and we will all go away for the weekend to to Kronening in the Netherlands. Then next Wednesday we fly from Amsterdam via Frankfurt to Singapore - 3 nights there and then back to Brisbane on Monday the 1st.
Have a wonderful time at Port Douglas - a beautiful place I hear and of course seeing Andrew will top off your holiday. I know you both deserve a break and it's wonderful to think that Stuart is helping you out so that it can happen.
Thanks so much for your best wishes and next time we're down we hope to catch up.
love from us,
SusyX

Dear Sue and Marty, Hope your are both fine and still having a wonderful trip, it is starting to come to an end. You will have wonderful memories and this blog you have done is just amazing, credit to you. Everything you do , you always do a fantastic job. We are going to Port Douglas on the 31st of July for a week with the friends we went to Italy with so we know that we all get along, lots of laughs. When we leave at the end of our week, Colin and I are hiring a car and taking a couple of days to drive down to Andrew at Airlie Beach, stay there for 6 days then fly home from Hamilton Island, very hard saying bye to him but you have done all that too. We both need a rest and darling Stuart is taking 2 weeks off work to look after the farm. He needs a brake also. It will be easier for him to be home so he can feed the stock during the day instead of doing it after work in the dark and then he can do what he wants. He is the sort of person who doen't mind having quiet times to himself. We really appreciate what he is doing. He said to me that he wants Col to go away and not to worry about the farm. Col said that New York City was an amazing city to visit and it was many years ago that he was there. Take care dear friends and safe trip. With our love Helen and Colin. xxx

Hi Helen and Colin,
Your life is busy at the moment! I hope you realised some good cattle prices and had a successful day at the sales.
It's our first time in New York City and what an amazing city it is - a highlight today was viewing the Alexander McQueen Collection at the Museum of Metropolitan Art - Aunty Edie would have loved it Helen; in fact I saw a dress covered with flowers that reminded me of her!
cheers and love
Sue and Marty.

Hi Peter,
Great to hear from you! Yes we only have one more week in the RV - I think we will miss this 'nomadic lifestyle'' we've slowed down a bit and we're just appreciating the forest walks, the time to sit around a campfire, time to read, siestas and not doing much really. I guess New York City will change all of that next week! Really looking forward to exploring and visiting the Galleries and I've booked to see 'Memphis', a show on Broadway which should be some fun.
Thanks for your best wishes - hope all is well with you. I'll look forward to catching up when I get back.
You take care

Hi Susanne
Just had a peep at your blog for the frst time...what a neat way of recording a trip. Was looking through the New Orleans section. It looks and sounds just as I would imagine. Saw a prog on tv a week or so ago here on slavery in the South and one of the plantations featured was Oak Alley ... looks magnificent.
I guess you are about to head off to Europe .. safe journey & continue the fun!
Hugs

Believe me, Dad was scared when he saw the biggest bear he had seen, as shown in the last two photographs. He'll tell you about it...
